Common questions

Do you take a cut of my payments?
No. Client payments go through your own Stripe account and settle to your own bank. Cadenza charges only the flat monthly subscription; Stripe's standard card processing fees apply to card payments as with any processor.
What happens when the trial ends?
You add a card and keep going, or you don't and the account pauses. Your data isn't deleted — paid features simply lock until you subscribe.
What if I run out of storage?
Add 50 GB blocks for $9.99/mo any time — or turn on auto-expiry so delivered masters clean themselves up after a retention window you choose.
Do my clients need accounts?
No. Reviews, approvals, payments, and downloads all work through secure expiring email links. If you prefer, you can turn on a lightweight client portal per studio.
Is sales tax handled?
Studio services are untaxed in most US states, so tax is off by default — but you can set a manual tax rate on any invoice if your state requires it.
